Vivid hot-and-cool colours sing on the night ferry from Hull.
Someone with a camera complained “The light’s gone.” …and retreated inside.
Well, the light was good enough for me!
July 2016:
Exactlly 2 years after the vivid night colours of July 2014, the 2016 photographs reflect a different light altogether. The Pride of York was again the setting for images of Hull dock and the Humber.
Sadly, this ship no longer works the Hull-Zeebrugge crossing and has been sold. I am pleased to have these images as fond memories and unique records of a familiar journey.
